The job of an inverter is to take power from the batteries, typically 12 or 24 or 48 Volts DC (Direct Current) and invert it into standard "house power", 120 Volts AC (Alternating Current).  This makes it possible to run most anything that you can plug in at home.  We stock Cotek inverters for use with 12, 24, and 48 Volt battery banks.

Cotek Inverter series cheat sheet: Pick a wattage higher than your maximum combined load and select series based on desired functionality.

SP series - Inverter only.

SD series - Inverter plus AC pass-through for external power.

SC series - Fully automatic bi-directional inverter chargers, ideal for systems with frequent access to external AC. High frequency inverters are designed to efficiently power complex electronics and sensitive loads.

SL series - Same as SC series, but low frequency. They are designed to easily handle heavy-duty inductive loads such as pumps, motors, and high-torque tools.
