Currently seeking:

Marketing and Sales hybrid position. Full-time in Portland. $16+/hr DOE.
Sales position. Full time in Portland. $16+/hr DOE.

Primary Marketing Duties:

• Manage social media presence by creating and posting content on a regular basis and engaging with the community at large.

• Seek out additional marketing opportunities, e.g. commercial partnerships and branded gear.

• Assist in producing/editing multimedia content such as training videos and product features.

Primary Sales Duties:

• Provide top-notch customer service at all times, especially when communicating technical subjects to customers who may not have our level of understanding.

• Evaluate customer needs and build customized estimates to suit their specific project.

• Understand the components and how they work together in order to design effective systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Marketing education/experience

• Retail experience.

• Interested and comfortable with electricity, especially DC and solar.

• Familiar with SEO and promoting content on social media.

• Molehills-out-of-mountains attitude

• Ability to be flexible and creative with solutions.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide spectrum of skill levels

• Ability to lift and carry 30lbs or more for short distances

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making

• Fluent in Spanish

Minimum Requirements

• Basic understanding of electricity and Ohm’s Law

• Basic math skills

• Ability to be friendly and personable

• Ability to work both solo and in a team

• Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks effectively

• Detail-oriented

• Organized
